Our initial teacher education programs include Early Childhood, Primary Education, Secondary Education and Master of Teaching. We also offer a diverse range of Post Graduate coursework and research programs.About the roleThe purpose of this role is to make contributions to the scholarly teaching, research and leadership efforts of the University of Notre Dame Australia. The successful candidate will teach, coordinate and lead courses and programs in Special and Inclusive Education in National Early Childhood and Initial Teacher Education and post graduate degrees and ensure alignment with the Accreditation of initial teacher education programs in Australia: Standards and Procedures.The successful candidate will also carry out scholarly research, supervise HDR students, and take up professional activities relevant to promoting the inclusion, learning and achievement of all individuals. This role reports to the National Head of School, Education.A level C Academic Staff Member is expected to make significant contributions to the teaching and governance effort of a department, school, faculty or other organisational unit or an interdisciplinary area. An academic at this level is also expected to play a major role in scholarship, research and/or professional activities.Level D (Associate Professor)A level D Academic Staff Member is expected to make a significant contribution to all activities of the organisational unit or interdisciplinary area and play a significant role within their profession or discipline.
