Join Our Team as an Electrical Foreman in AfricaWe are actively seeking experienced Electrical Foremen to join our African operations on a 6-week on, 4-week off roster.Ideal Candidate ProfileMinimum 10 years as an Underground electricianMinimum 5 years as an Underground electrical supervisorSound knowledge of Australian standards relevant to underground mining electrical systemsExperience in maintaining electrical management systemsSolid understanding of WHS requirementsProficient computer skillsThis role is hands-on and involves ensuring the effective transfer of skills and knowledge to national electrical personnel, focusing on HV preventative, scheduled, and breakdown maintenance at the mine site, all performed safely and efficiently.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport site leadership in implementing safety systems and initiatives related to electrical functions.Review site working areas for compliance with relevant laws, policies, procedures, and standards.Engage in visual leadership interactions.Assist with planning for electrical teams.Coordinate with project management and electrical managers on safety and compliance issues.Provide coaching and mentoring to team members.Qualifications and Training RequirementsElectrical Trade certificateUnrestricted electrical licenseElectrical Nominee qualificationsHigh Voltage operations certificateFirst Aid qualificationsAdditional InformationApplicants must undergo a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing, and obtain site-specific clearances.
