In this high-impact role, you will lead our passionate finance team and collaborate with leaders across the organisation.The Cost Accountant is responsible for managing cost accounting functions, including cost analysis, budgeting, and inventory valuation. This role ensures accurate product costing, monitors operational efficiencies, and supports strategic decision-making with recommendations on margin opportunities.The role involves EPD/NPD costings, quarterly pricing reviews, margin analysis, ERP standard costs maintenance, and inventory valuation.Job DescriptionWhat you will do:Analyze and monitor product costs, raw material costs, and overheads to ensure accurate standard costing.Prepare new product costings accurately and timely.Provide weekly cost variance reports and investigate discrepancies.Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts related to manufacturing and operational costs.Conduct margin analysis by product line and recommend cost efficiency improvements.Manage inventory valuation and control, collaborating with warehouse and production teams.Support month-end and year-end closing activities with necessary cost data.Implement and maintain cost control procedures ensuring compliance with audit standards.Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics to optimize costs.Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements across the supply chain.Prepare profitability, pricing, and product cost reports for senior management.What You Need To Succeed:Effective collaboration with operations, NPD, and commercial teams to streamline processes.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Compliance with accounting standards and company policies.Ability to meet deadlines and deliver quality results.Support the business with cost accounting expertise.Ability to develop strong relationships.Work effectively in a complex, high-pressure environment.Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.QualificationsWhat You Bring:Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPA/CMA preferred).35 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in FMCG or Food Industry.Knowledge of cost accounting principles, inventory systems, and ERP platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics BC).Proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis tools.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.Who You Are:An approachable, disciplined team member.A collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.Thrives under pressure and can think quickly.Confident communicator capable of autonomous work.Aligned with Jack Links values and passionate about innovation and excellence.Additional InformationWhy Join Jack Links?Be part of a global brand with a strong APAC presence.Collaborate across teams and bring our culture to life.Join a supportive, fun, and cohesive team committed to success.Whats Next?Click "APPLY NOW" to submit your cover letter and CV.
