Your new company is looking for of a Supply planning Manager to drive the team forward.About the RoleReporting to the Operations Director the Supply Planning Manager will manage the material, inventory and production planning and scheduling teams.The purpose of this position is to manage the complete supply planning and scheduling process for the Australia and NZ businesses. It covers the planning, purchasing, allocation and disposal of raw materials and finished goods, the S&OP process including demand planning and the removal of obsolete products and inventory.The Supply Planning manager is accountable for managing the $36M of national inventory including determining and minimizing obsolete raw materials and finished goods by introducing and optimizing raw material forecasting, monitoring and stocking policies. The Supply Planning manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and refinement of a formalised S&OP process.ResponsibilitiesYour key responsibilities in this role will focus on the ongoing development and optimization of key planning and scheduling processes, including S&OP, production planning, and inventory ordering. It ensures adequate raw materials for production while managing obsolescence to minimize financial impact.Collaborating with procurement, it seeks cost-effective solutions to reduce operating costs. The role also involves capacity planning, data analysis for S&OP meetings, and recommending improvements for production efficiency.
