About The Role Thiess is seeking Field Service Mechanics and Electricians to support our client''s fleet maintenance needs, as well as Thiess sites based in the Hunter region. Successful applicants will be able to work across various industries depending on experience and willingness to rotate through different work environments. In these roles, you will: Perform servicing, repair, and maintenance of large-scale mobile mining equipment including Caterpillar, Liebherr, Komatsu, and others. Handle mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment from sites. Source technical information from manuals, bulletins, OEM, and computer systems. Maintain good housekeeping standards. Manage work orders effectively. Work semi-autonomously when required. Be part of a motivated and driven team. About You To succeed in this role, you should have: Proven experience as a Fitter or Electrician. Post-trade experience in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry. Relevant Certificate of Proficiency issued by Training NSW. Experience in maintenance, breakdowns, component changeouts, servicing, and diagnostics of Heavy Earthmoving equipment. Experience with Liebherr, Caterpillar, Komatsu equipment is preferred. OEM experience is desirable. Current driver''s license. Valid Australian Citizenship or visa.
