Position Summary: As a Food & Beverage Expert - Banquet, your responsibilities include: Assist in preparing and setting up event and meeting spaces, including handling heavy equipment to ensure successful events. Tend bar and serve platters of food, maintaining high standards of service and presentation. Provide operational support in the service and delivery of food and beverages with efficiency and attention to detail. Arrange dining setups, from buffet to fine dining, ensuring they meet luxury standards. Polish cutlery and prepare miscellaneous items for service. Build relationships with guests to foster repeat business. Support event arrangements and create memorable experiences exceeding guest expectations. Anticipate guest needs and deliver exceptional service. Collaborate with the banquets team for smooth event execution. Support other venue outlets as needed, including In-Room Dining, Lobby Lounge, Bar, etc. About You: Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol certification. Experience in a similar hospitality role. Luxury customer service experience is preferred. Valid working rights in Australia. Eager to develop your hospitality career. Proactive, energetic, and adaptable in fast-paced environments. Bring positive solutions and attitude. Open to role development within the business.
