We are currently seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive Personal Assistant to support our Lawyers and staff in delivering outstanding legal services.Job Overview:As a Personal Assistant at Watts McCray Lawyers, you will be an integral part of our team, providing administrative and personal support to our Lawyers and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the firm. You will play a key role in assisting with client communications, scheduling, document management, and other tasks to ensure the firm runs efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Manage and maintain attorneys'' calendars, appointments, and meetings.Draft and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and client communications.Handle client inquiries with professionalism, compassion, and confidentiality.Coordinate meetings, hearings, and court appearances for attorneys and clients.Prepare and file legal documents with the court (electronically and in person, as required).Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel on case matters.Qualifications:Previous experience as a paralegal, personal assistant, administrative assistant, or legal assistant, with a focus on family law preferred.Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage deadlines and shifting priorities.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to handle confidential and sensitive client information with discretion.Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.Prior experience in a family law firm or legal setting is preferred but not required.Competitive salary based on experience.Opportunity for career growth in a supportive and dynamic legal environment.Professional development and training opportunities.How to Apply:Apply now or submit your resume to jessica@aflegal.com.au.
