Add expected salary to your profile for insights.Are you an experienced and motivated mechanic looking to take your skills to the next level?Are you eager to work on heavy vehicles such as trucks and specialized equipment?If you have a passion for mechanics and a drive to grow in your career, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team.About Us:Dyers is a proud family-owned logistics company which has operated since 1932 and is committed to employing great people to maintain our outstanding service levels.We currently have a vacancy for an experienced mechanic based in our Morwell workshop to maintain and repair our company-owned fleet of utes, trucks, trailers, and materials handling equipment.Key Responsibilities:Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of heavy vehicles, including utes, trucks, trailers, and specialized equipment.Conduct in-house mechanical works to ensure all vehicles are in top working condition.Ability to diagnose and prioritize tasks.Maintain detailed records of all repairs, parts used, and labor hours to ensure accurate maintenance and service history.Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and provide assistance when needed.Maintain a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.Requirements:Australian Trade Qualification Mechanical (Heavy or Light) or willingness to upskill.Ability to work overtime during peak periods.Flexibility for rotating after-hours call-out roster.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.A current driver''s license.HC or MC license or willingness to obtain one.A 3rd or 4th year Heavy Commercial Vehicle Apprentice will also be considered.Take the next step in your career and grow with us as a Heavy Vehicle Technician.To Apply:If you would like to be part of a rapidly expanding transport business where you can make a difference with your skills and professionalism, please apply directly on SEEK.
