We aim to offer flexible, innovative services that go beyond traditional piping solutions, ensuring we address the unique challenges of each project.JOB ROLEWe are seeking a skilled Fixed Plant Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing fixed plant machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.You should be detail-oriented, focused, and adept at interpreting blueprints. A Fitter should be able to safely use hand and power tools as well as demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKSPerform routine maintenance and inspections on fixed plant equipment.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues.Install, align, and dismantle machinery and equipment as required.Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records.Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement process improvements.Respond to emergency breakdowns and carry out necessary repairs.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCERelevant trade qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Fitting or equivalent) OR 3 years work experience in lieu of qualification.Minimum 1 year work experience as a Fixed Plant Fitter or in a similar role.Current C Class Western Australian driver''s licence.Confined Space Ticket.Working at Heights Ticket.White Card.Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.Commitment to safety standards and procedures.Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.Willingness to work at heights and in various environmental conditions.Desirable tickets: Loader, EWP, Forklift & Dogging.Experience with general fitting activities in a gold processing plant is desirable.National Police Clearance (less than 6 months old).Willingness to undertake a full site medical and drug and alcohol testing.Experience working in remote locations.Application QuestionsApplicants will be asked to answer questions such as:Right to work in AustraliaYears of experience as a Fixed Plant FitterCurrent Australian drivers licenseCurrent Police CheckEngineering qualificationWhite CardHeight safety ticketsConfined space coursesPlease include any additional relevant information if you believe the job ad is misleading or fraudulent. #J-18808-Ljbffr
