Process Operator in Training (Fugal Operator)As a Fugal Operator in Training at Wilmar Sugar & Renewables, you will be working as part of our sugar production team, where you''ll transform raw ingredients into raw sugar while having a blast! Whether you''re into fishing and boating, hiking, or just chilling by the beach, the Burdekin Region has it all waiting for you.This is a permanent position in our sugar processing factory which requires shift work during the crushing season (June - December), including weekends, overtime, and day work during the maintenance period (January - May).Your Role in ActionSweet Systems: Produce raw sugar and c seed/magma that consistently satisfies quality and technical standards with minimal disruption to operations and product loss.Collaboration Crew: Work in conjunction and communicate effectively with the mill management, pan boilers, and shift team.Data Detective: Sample, inspect, and perform basic analysis on sugar and molasses streams.Housekeeping Hero: Maintain excellent housekeeping practices around the Fugal station to ensure a safe work environment.Efficiency Enforcer: Perform regular inspections of plant and equipment, and complete maintenance requests as required.Accuracy in Action: Complete logbooks, charts, and any other data collection required by management.Your Winning CombinationOur ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator and have basic maintenance skills.While the following are requirements for this role, we are prepared to provide training to individuals with the right aptitude and team fit:Working at HeightsConfined Space EntryMaintenance skills, which are highly desirable and include: Trade qualifications, Rigger, Dogger, and Scaffolder High Risk Work Licences.What Wilmar will offer youAt Wilmar, you''ll be embraced as a valued member of our team, appreciated for your unique contributions.
