Job Description - Trades Assistant / Work Execution Officer (263519)As a fundamental player in the Defence industry, UGL plays a vital role in supporting the Defence Fuel Network across 100 Australian Defence bases nationwide.From operations and maintenance to asset management and fuel supply services, our team''s expertise ensures we deliver effectively and sustainably.As a result of expanding scope of works within UGLs portfolio, we are seeking to recruit a Trades Assistant / Work Execution Officer, to join our Operations & Maintenance team at the Pearce RAAF Base in Bullsbrook, Perth WA.This would be an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Australian Defence environment to support the security requirements of the Nation. Benefit from the opportunity to work with a Tier 1 services provider in a long-term, operations and maintenance contract.The RoleReporting to a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be based at Pearce RAAF Base (Bullsbrook, Perth WA), supporting surrounding locations with occasional regional travel. You will be a part of a core crew of UGL technicians.These duties will include, but not limited to:Scoping mechanical and electrical work activitiesProcurement of materials and creation of work packsManagement of maintenance documentation on Computerised Maintenance Management SystemCoordination of contractors including obtaining quotes and documentationAssisting maintenance technicians in field worksSupport various sites in the region, with occasional requirement to travel to various sites throughout WAGeneral administration & ad hoc duties as requiredWhat you NeedYou will be a strong team player, a self-starter and dedicated employee that will draw on your experience and diverse skills to deliver high quality outcomes for UGL and our customer.
