We are also the worldwide leader in our industry.About the OpportunityA permanent full-time role is available within the Cool Room team in Forrestdale. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused with experience in forklift operation. Experience in picking and packing products to customer orders is advantageous. As part of a close-knit team, effective communication skills and teamwork are essential.The duties include:Manually picking orders accurately, palletising, and labelling for customers.Loading and unloading trucks while observing all safety requirements.Ensuring vehicles are loaded efficiently to meet time slots and production needs.Following housekeeping and hygiene procedures.Receiving, storing, recording, and issuing stock in saleable condition.Operating forklifts safely.Ensuring all customer orders and receipts are accompanied by correct paperwork.Reporting any issues that may disrupt operations.Assisting in training new staff and performing other duties as required.Preferred qualifications include:A current forklift license (required)Previous warehouse operator experienceComputer literacy, including Microsoft Office and maintenance systemsThe successful candidate must be flexible with work hours and willing to work overtime, including shift work, as required. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to high performance are essential.
