The Hygiene Team Manager is responsible for maintaining hygiene standards at the Youfoodz production facility, ensuring compliance with quality standards, leading team training and development, and managing waste effectively. The role involves driving team performance to meet production schedules, reporting to the Hygiene Manager, and overseeing pre-op results and hygiene strategy implementation on the floor. Based on-site at our custom-built facility in Karawatha, you will: Lead and manage a team of four supervisors to ensure hygiene tasks and production schedules are met. Promote team development through training, coaching, and mentoring to foster a high-performance culture. Encourage positive employee engagement, modeling behaviors aligned with HelloFresh Group DNA. Oversee wash bay operations, ensuring daily equipment cleaning and compliance with standards. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to sign off on pre-op tasks, ensure remedial cleans, and report results. Supervise GMP compliance, including stock checks, PPE management, and cleaning procedures maintenance. Support environmental monitoring, investigate hygiene issues, and implement corrective actions. Ensure safety compliance, manage team timesheets, and coordinate with Workforce Planning for proper resourcing and training. You should have: Tertiary qualifications in Manufacturing or related fields. Certifications in Food Processing (Certificate III), Commercial Cookery (Certificate II or III), and Food Safety (Certificate I, II, or III). Leadership experience in an FMCG environment. Experience in high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing or similar environments. Knowledge of Food Safety practices, HACCP, and WH&S principles. Lean Manufacturing experience.
