Reporting to the Electrical Generation Supervisor, you will join a technically disciplined team and demonstrate the ability to deliver a variety of electrical activities essential to our team''s success.The Solomon Power Station comprises 14 Bergen medium speed gas reciprocating gensets, 2 GE LM6000PF Gas Turbine Engines, and 4 Solar Titan 130 Gas Turbine Engines, with a total capacity of 289MW and associated balance of plant.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure all maintenance activities are properly resourced and executed according to the maintenance strategy.Perform daily rounds and plant inspections to ensure safe operation.Carry out planned and routine maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment, Hazardous Areas, and Type B gas equipment.Diagnose and fault-find on all equipment within the power station and energy operations battery limits.Qualifications and ExperienceCert IV in Instrumentation with relevant experience essential.Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA) training desirable.Supervised gas fitter qualification desirable.Experience in power generation, including GE LM6000 or Solar Titan 130 turbines.Experience with gas reciprocating engines.Experience in power station or processing plant maintenance and fault-finding, including instrumentation, PLC, and control systems like ComAp.About UsBe part of something big.
