Hotel Canobolas one of regional NSWs most iconic hospitality venues is looking for a Cellar Manager to join our passionate team and lead all aspects of our beverage storage and service operations.About The RoleAs the Cellar Manager, youll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of our beverage supply chain from ordering and stock control to cellar maintenance and team supervision. Working closely with the Operations Manager and Bar/Bistro teams, youll be responsible for ensuring our beverages and stock are stored and served to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesManage ordering, receiving, and inventory control of all beveragesOversee storage, rotation, and stock integrity of wine, beer, and spiritsMaintain cellar cleanliness and equipment hygieneLead and mentor the cellar/BOH team with a focus on safety, training, and performanceLiaise with suppliers and ensure timely deliveriesMonitor beverage cost controls and support budgeting targetsChampion WHS compliance and safe work practicesWhat Were Looking ForPrevious experience in cellar and beverage operations (hospitality venue or similar)Strong leadership and communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and organisational abilitiesSound knowledge of beverage storage, rotation and quality controlUnderstanding of workplace health & safety practicesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on hospitality environmentPhysical fitness is required for this positionWhat We OfferFull-time permanent role with competitive remunerationWork with an established and reputable hospitality groupA supportive leadership team and dynamic work cultureStaff benefits across all our venues www.the-point.comAbout UsHotel Canobolas is part of The Point, a hospitality group with a passion for premium experiences and exceptional venues across NSW.
