The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking an Emergency Management Coordinator to provide a critical role within the Security and Intelligence Division. About The Business Unit The Security and Intelligence Division sits within Corrections Victoria in the Department of Justice & Community Safety. It is responsible for key strategic functions including security risk management, electronic monitoring, emergency response, emergency management (including exercising plans and contingencies), and intelligence. The division is divided into four business units: Corrections Victoria Intelligence Unit, Security Standards Unit, Electronic Monitoring & Security & Emergency Services Group (SESG). The Emergency Management Unit within SESG ensures EM capability within Corrections Victoria, performs compliance functions, and leads the development of emergency management capabilities. About The Role The Emergency Management Coordinator is a specialist position working across correctional and youth justice systems, coordinating emergency management functions. Some Of Your Duties Will Include Assist with developing and implementing comprehensive emergency management processes. Deliver Field Commander training across Corrections Victoria Prisons and Youth Justice. Deliver Management System for Emergencies training and awareness programs across Corrections Victoria Prisons and Youth Justice. About You To succeed, you will have: Knowledge of DJCS and Corrections Victoria EM operations, policies, and procedures. Ability to meet strict deadlines independently and as part of a team. Experience in delivering training. Qualifications Formal qualifications in emergency management are highly regarded. A current Victorian Driver''s licence is required.
