So rather than outsize our competitors we must outsmart them..The strength of this role is that you get to work across the full funnel spectrum of planning; from big brand annual campaigns to borrowing skills from User Experience to curate how people connect and participate with brands.The RoleAs a Strategy Planning Director, you are responsible for the creation of the communications planning and strategic direction a brand will to their business goals. You are responsible for helping to strategise, produce and make sense of the key cultural, consumer and market intelligence required to design the best possible holistic communications recommendation plan to deliver on that brief.This role requires someone with a strong backbone in Communications planning and the rigour that goes alongside it. You have a strong understanding of how communications work in todays dynamic communications landscape, thinking about the total experience of everything that touches the customer.You have a passion for people, brands and ideas and an insatiable curiosity for culture in every sense. You believe in what brands can and should mean in the world and are driven by the desire to understand the changing world and peoples subsequent shifting motivations and behaviours.You are responsible for creating the strategic recommendations and engaging with the client in an advisory capacity. Creative thinking, strong presentation skills, effective people management skills and leadership behaviours are critical in delivering success in this role.You should produce work that drives the re-appraisal of communications and what media can do in the world and your work should be seen as driving the agency forward.
