As part of a global team of 10,000 professionals in 100 countries, you will advise clients on preserving, optimising, raising, or investing capital. Major groups within SaT include Mergers and Acquisitions, Project Finance, Corporate Restructuring, Operational Transaction Services, Transaction Support, Transaction Tax, and Valuation, Modelling, and Economics.You will support clients on valuation matters in various contexts including transactions, portfolio assessment, restructuring, and strategic planning. This work typically assists clients with commercial, financial reporting, tax, regulatory matters, or strategy.Your key responsibilitiesWork within small project teams to undertake valuations of businesses and intangible assets for purposes such as management planning, M&A, tax, financial reporting, and disputes.Take ownership for project delivery, managing and preparing valuation reports, detailed financial models, and analyses.Think critically, identify issues, and propose strategies related to the advice provided.Maintain positive, productive, and professional relationships with clients and colleagues.What we look forHeres our wish listbut dont worry if you dont tick all the boxes. Were interested in your strengths, your learning goals, and your ambitions.A bachelors degree and approximately 3 to 7 years of relevant experience.A degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business, with demonstrated quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.Experience utilizing various valuation techniques (market comparables, discounted cash flow, etc.) for different purposes.Financial modelling experience in MS Excel and related software preferred.Experience conducting valuations for accounting or tax planning is desirable.Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.Ideally, youll also have the skills and attributes below, but dont worry if you dont tick all the boxes.
