Job Description - Technical Coordinator - Passenger Train Help Desk (263918)UGL''s Manufacturing and Maintenance division has an opportunity for an experienced Technical Coordinator Help Desk to join our $2.3 billion New Intercity Fleet (NIF) project team based at the Rail Operations Centre (ROC) in Alexandria, Green Square. A relocation assistance package is available for eligible applicants interested in relocating to Sydney.This project involves replacing trains servicing routes from Sydney to the Central Coast, Newcastle, the Blue Mountains, and the South Coast. UGL will operate a new maintenance facility and provide maintenance and asset management services for the fleet over 15 years.About the RoleReporting to the Planning & Logistics Manager, the primary responsibility of the Technical Coordinator is to be the first point of contact for operational issues with the NIF Trains and to coordinate fault detection and rectification between train drivers and the NSCC Fleet Controller.The role is based at the ROC near Sydney Central Station and involves 24/7, twelve-hour rotational shifts.
