Were looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, is motivated to win, and can play a key role in driving commercial success. Working within the Finance team and alongside Business Development, this role offers exposure across all areas of the business. While the initial focus will be on supporting our Offshore and Remote sector, it may expand to cover all sectors within the organization over time. Main Responsibilities: Financial Modelling: Development of project-specific financial models that are accurate, auditable, and consider applicable benchmarks tested with Sensitivity Analysis. Review/Approval Process: Facilitating key components of the review and approval process under supervision, ensuring compliance with financial controls and principles set by leadership, and ongoing optimization of review processes for new business opportunities. Benchmarking Database: Maintaining and updating a database of quantitative metrics, cost inputs, and benchmarks for bids, new business opportunities, and client quotes. Tender Strategy: Supporting and influencing tender strategies with strong commercial analysis and strategic recommendations where appropriate. Relationship Building: Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with the Operations Team and shared services. Tender Support: Providing post-submission tender support and analysis during contract negotiations. Commercial Handover: Ensuring effective handover of financial models for successful opportunities, with subsequent commercial partnership to ensure operational alignment and learning from outcomes. Please note: This role can be based in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane. THE PERSON Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field. Proficiency in advanced Excel and financial modelling techniques. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong presentation skills for client-facing and internal discussions. Strong analytical skills with numerical agility and problem-solving abilities. Commercial acumen to apply a business-focused perspective to financial models, ensuring alignment with objectives.
