Founded in 2017, Axis Mineral Services Pty Ltd (Axis) specialise in crushing & ore sorting services for all requirements in Mining, Milling, Processing and Civil applications. Axis is a rapidly growing contractor to the mining sector. Were committed to delivering operational excellence, safety, and innovation across all our projects. As we expand, were seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help shape the next phase of our journey. The Opportunity As COO, you will play a pivotal role in leading the operational strategy and performance of Axis. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee all field and functional teams including Operations, HSET, Maintenance, and HR. Youll be responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and profitable operations while fostering a high-performance and safety-first culture. Key responsibilities would include, but not be limited to: Leading operational strategy across crushing, screening, ore sorting, and civil projects; Driving performance, productivity, and cost-efficiency across all project sites; Building strong client relationships, ensuring contract retention and satisfaction; Developing and leading high-performing teams aligned with Axis values; Managing budgets, forecasts, and P&L to ensure profitability; Championing safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives; and Driving strategic initiatives and new business opportunities in line with company strategic goals and objectives.
