Based in Katherine, NT, this is your chance to contribute directly to the safety, liveability, and sustainability of communities across the Victoria Daly region.Your New RoleAs the Roads, Infrastructure & Assets Coordinator, you''ll lead high-impact roadworks and infrastructure projects across multiple locations, working closely with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders. Youll manage capital works and asset strategies that support housing, disaster recovery, environmental sustainability, and more.Key responsibilities:Oversee road construction, upgrades, and maintenance projectsManage capital works, tenders, contractor performance, and WHS complianceDevelop and implement asset management plans and project schedulesConduct inspections and coordinate travel across remote communitiesSupport grant funding submissions and infrastructure strategyWhat Youll BringProven experience in civil construction, asset management, or infrastructure coordinationStrong skills in contractor supervision, budgeting, and complianceCertificate IV in Civil, Construction, or Mechanical Engineering (desirable)Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsCurrent Driver Licence, WWC Card, and Criminal History CheckExperience working in or with Aboriginal communities is highly valuedYou''re a hands-on leader who thrives in dynamic environments, can adapt to remote work settings, and understands the importance of cultural awareness and community-focused outcomes.Why Join Victoria Daly Regional Council?Were committed to building vibrant, sustainable communities.
