Job reference: 670873 Location: Adelaide (Postal code 5000) Job status: Short Term Contract Eligibility: Open to Everyone The Firearms Branch issues licenses for firearms and ammunition, and approves and registers firearms, permits for prohibited weapons. The Senior Adjudicator reports to the Adjudication Section Supervisor and is responsible for investigating, adjudicating, and liaising on firearms-related matters to ensure compliance with the Firearms Act and related legislation. The role involves providing accurate information on legislation, policy, and procedures to operational, prosecution, administrative personnel, and the public. Special Conditions: Must hold current Australian work eligibility and pass a criminal history check. May be assigned other duties at this remuneration level. Some out-of-hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required. Participation in SAPOLs iEngage program is required. Salary: ASO4 - $76,561 - $80,256 per annum.
