About The Role This is a key leadership position responsible for the efficient and effective operational management of the hospital after-hours. The role supports clinical care, planning, implementing, and evaluating care practices, policy compliance, processes, and services within the hospital. It reports directly to the Director of Clinical Services. About You You will be a positive and effective leader with the ability to motivate others. You should bring: Extensive clinical skills and experience with exceptional interpersonal skills. Ability to manage your time effectively and support clinical and non-clinical teams to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. This role is suitable for an experienced nurse stepping into leadership or a more seasoned clinical manager. Qualifications and Experience Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse/Midwife or Registered Nurse. Desirable minimum 5 years postgraduate experience within Midwifery and/or Surgical Nursing. Demonstrated ability to be an effective role model in clinical practice. Sound computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Whats in it for you? About The Hospital Frances Perry House is a leading private maternity and womens health hospital in Melbourne, with 93 beds, surgical and maternity units, Level 4 Special Care Nursery, birthing suites, operating theatres, a day surgery unit, and urodynamics procedure room. Requirements Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months. May require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against vaccine-preventable diseases.
