Join us and be part of a team that values safety, integrity, and making a real impact.The OpportunityWe''re seeking an experienced and strategic State Sales Manager to lead our sales team for the Visy Board business in Western Australia. Based in Perth and reporting to the General Manager Visy Board WA, this role manages approximately six direct reports to drive profitable sales growth and deliver outstanding customer service.This senior leadership role involves shaping the commercial direction of our WA fibre packaging operations, developing long-term customer partnerships, and promoting safety, continuous improvement, and a high-performance sales culture.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the WA Sales Team, ensuring safety, engagement, and alignment with Visy values.Develop and implement strategies to drive profitable sales growth across Western Australia.Maintain and enhance key customer relationships, ensuring product and service excellence.Negotiate commercial agreements that benefit both Visy and our customers.Provide accurate reporting, sales forecasts, and performance metrics.Ensure accountability for customer engagement, contract renewals, inventory management, and non-conformance issues.Support continuous improvement initiatives within sales processes and customer service.Collaborate with Operations, Commercial, Design, Logistics, and National Sales teams.Foster talent development, succession planning, and team wellbeing.What You Will BringProven sales management experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial B2B environment.Leadership skills with a history of developing high-performing teams.Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and strategic thinking abilities.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.A customer-focused approach with the ability to influence and build long-term partnerships.Experience or familiarity with the packaging or FMCG industry is desirable.Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.Valid drivers license.What Youll LoveScope: Own the state-wide sales strategy and influence our commercial success.Leadership: Manage a high-impact team within a growth-oriented, innovative business.Culture: Join a company that values its people, safety, and continuous improvement.Support: Work with experienced leaders and cross-functional teams.If you''re ready to advance your sales leadership career and want to work for a purpose-driven business, we want to hear from you.Applicants must meet Visys employment criteria, including a criminal history check and pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol testing).Visy is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.Advertised: 20 May 2025 W.
