Now Hiring: Experienced Part-Time Security Officers Starting at $20.00/hr Location: Akron | Schedule: Part-Time Shifts Available: Monday to Friday: 12 Noon 5:00 PM Are you an experienced security professional seeking a part-time role where your skills make a real impact? We seek dependable, detail-oriented individuals with a strong sense of responsibility and integrity. What You''ll Do: Conduct inspections, monitor activity, and secure critical areas Screen outgoing materials, mail, and trash to prevent asset loss Enforce company policies and regulations professionally and fairly Monitor compliance with laws and regulations Prepare detailed incident reports Maintain positive public relations and team atmosphere Attend ongoing training in security practices Qualify annually with a firearm (required) Perform additional duties as assigned What We''re Looking For: We seek professional, reliable individuals committed to safety and service. Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Prior private security experience; military or law enforcement background preferred Valid 20-Hour Private Security Firearms Certificate (O.P.O.T.C.) or ability to obtain within 90 days Strong communication skills Good judgment and ability to stay calm under pressure Why Join Signet?
