Position Details: PRN/2nd shift at Akron City Campus Summary: Performs various housekeeping duties throughout the hospital, including functions requiring specialized machines and techniques. Minimum Qualifications: Ability to understand and follow directions Additional Skills and Competencies: Ability to work well within a team, accept and offer constructive feedback, support team goals, and collaborate with patient care team members to optimize work and reduce costs. Ability to create a patient-centered environment respecting patient needs and dignity. Proactive in contributing beyond formal duties, such as suggesting innovative ideas and providing feedback. Exposure to odors, feces, blood, and other bodily fluids. Exposure to blood, body fluids, sharps, and associated risks like falls, strains, and contagious diseases. Frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals. Effective communication skills, including electronic methods, as per policies. Physical Demands: Heavy exertion: lifting 50-100 pounds occasionally, 25-50 pounds frequently, and 10-20 pounds continuously.
