You know that quality matters and that delivering results requires a great team.In this role, you''ll:Perform maintenance and manual labour tasks using plant and equipment and powered and non-powered hand tools.Undertake road maintenance activities, which may include widening & barrier installs, enhanced road pavements, overtaking lanes, and heavy patching works.Travel extensively throughout the region to attend worksites, including call-outs where required.This position operates on a 9-day fortnight. You will be required to work regularly away from home.Applicants should reside within a 60 km radius of the Cooma depot.The successful candidate may need to work outside normal hours, attend after-hours callouts, and travel throughout the state to work at various locations.For more details, view the role description and information pack.About youYou are a team-oriented worker with attention to detail, experienced in similar environments.You are practical, quick to learn, and a great communicator who enjoys outdoor manual tasks involving hand tools and equipment.You must hold the following tickets/licenses: White Card Current drivers licenseTraffic Control tickets and Truck License (Medium Rigid) up to Heavy Rigid are preferred but not essential.You should have previous experience as a Road Worker Grade 1-3 or related civil construction labouring experience.Who we areTransport for NSW provides a safe, integrated, and efficient transport system, connecting people, communities, and industry daily.Join usOur workforce is diverse.
