CPB Contractors Job Opportunity: QC/QA Inspector E&ICPB Contractors, Australia''s leading infrastructure construction company and part of the CIMIC Group, is currently seeking a qualified & experienced QC/QA Inspector E&I for the Western Ridge Crusher Project in Newman, Western Australia. This role offers FIFO from Perth, working 14 days on, 7 days off, until mid-2026.About the ProjectIn partnership with Sedgman, SC Joint Venture (SCJV), CPB Contractors has been selected by BHP to undertake this major project, which includes constructing a new primary crusher, overland conveyor, radial stacker, and stockpiling systems.Minimum RequirementsInspect electrical and instrumentation installations for compliance with project specifications, drawings, and standards.Ensure work quality according to the Quality Management Plan, ITPs, and procedures.Conduct inspections, surveillance, and assess subcontractor QC performance.Review subcontractor procedures, inspection, test plans, and MDR.Verify installation, functionality, and operational status of electrical and instrumentation equipment.Perform inspections during testing phases of electrical and instrumentation systems.Calibrate and validate sensors, transmitters, and control devices.Maintain detailed inspection and testing records.Promote safety protocols and conduct hazard assessments onsite.Collaborate with engineers and contractors to resolve issues.Ensure materials and equipment meet quality standards upon delivery and installation.Report to the Quality Manager and produce weekly reports.Experience with Inspection Test Report verification in CCMS (Hexagon) is preferred.Familiarity with AS standards listed in the original description.We welcome applications from diverse backgrounds, including Indigenous Peoples, women, LGBTQ+ community, veterans, and people with disabilities.BenefitsCareer development and internal promotion opportunities.Competitive pay and benefits, including health and wellbeing programs.Flexible work arrangements and a culture that values diversity and innovation.Please note, applications are accepted directly through CPB Contractors only. #J-18808-Ljbffr
