Role Seniority Junior Job Description YOUR IMPACT: The Equity Capital Markets (ECM) Group within Corporate Advisory is seeking a skilled Associate to join our Sydney office. Our team handles complex financial challenges and transactions, working closely with public and private companies, financial sponsors, venture capital firms, and entrepreneurs to originate, structure, and execute equity financings such as IPOs, follow-on offerings, and block trades. We collaborate with various firm areas, including corporate advisory and equity sales and trading. Responsibilities Originate, lead, and execute equity capital market transactions. Develop content for meetings with clients regarding their strategy and potential transactions, and provide market updates. Coordinate with internal teams and external parties (clients, investors, lawyers) to execute transactions and discuss strategic options. Assist in coordinating live equity offerings, including bookbuilds and settlements. Review analytical work of junior team members and mentor them. Perform investor targeting and analyze comparable companies and cross-ownership. Manage projects throughout the transaction process. Qualifications Bachelor''s degree with 2-5 years relevant experience in ECM or Capital Markets. Interest in and understanding of equity markets. Strong communication, multi-tasking, and organizational skills. Integrity, initiative, leadership, and relationship-building skills. Top-tier academic background. Understanding of transaction cycles. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions. Strong analytical, technical, and quantitative skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
