About the Role & Team: Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Risk, this role provides strategic and operational support to embed risk management into business plans and activities. Key responsibilities include developing and overseeing enterprise risk frameworks, policies, and risk appetite statements, and collaborating with senior stakeholders. The role emphasizes proactive risk culture, continuous improvement, and compliance, requiring excellent stakeholder management, reporting, and analytical skills. Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Design & maintain enterprise risk management policies & frameworks, including the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and Risk Appetite Statement. Ensure consistent adoption of risk management policies across business units. Advance the three lines model to enhance risk ownership and oversight. Engage with management on risk issues, review metrics, processes, and risk events, and work with teams to address risks. Assess operational risk resiliency and flag emerging trends to senior management. Prepare high-quality reports on enterprise risk management practices for management and the board. Support insurance renewals, including data collection and risk reporting. Develop and deliver education and training to promote risk awareness. Participate in the Risk & Compliance Community of Practice. Maintain the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) IT system and processes. Skills and Experiences: Experience in enterprise and/or operational risk management, ideally in large or regulated environments. Knowledge of risk management frameworks, standards, and best practices. Ability to foster risk culture and practices. Capability to lead risk assessments, identify opportunities, and provide advice. Proactive stakeholder management, negotiation, and resolution skills. Experience creating dashboards, reports, and training materials. Strong attention to detail and collaborative mindset. Excellent communication, reporting, and data analysis skills. Understanding of and interest in the energy sector.
