Role Significance The Research Experience Librarian supports Library activities for Higher Degree Research (HDR) candidates and researchers, including workshops and strategic advice on scholarly communications, open research, and increasing the visibility of UNSWs scholarship. Main Responsibilities Develop resources and provide advice on scholarly communication and publishing issues. Coordinate activities with library staff and subject matter experts to support research dissemination and copyright. Enhance workshop content and online resources. Apply policies related to research and scholarly communication. Advise on tools, metadata, and workflows to improve research discoverability in line with FAIR principles. Contribute to Librarys Scholarly Communications Support services. Candidate Profile We seek individuals with: A relevant qualification and experience or equivalent knowledge. Understanding of research processes, scholarly communication, publisher policies, copyright, open access, and research metrics. Knowledge of digital repositories, research infrastructure, and open science trends. Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate complex ideas effectively. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks. Additional Information Working hours are Monday to Friday, during business hours. Visa sponsorship is not available; candidates must have full work rights in Australia.
