Join to apply for the Contractor Compliance Specialist role at Western Power1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Contractor Compliance Specialist role at Western PowerGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.This position is responsible for ensuring external contractors working on behalf of Western Power comply fully with the Contract Management Framework and all contractual compliance obligations and requirements including but not limited to; Safety, Environmental, Quality Management and the verification of Contractor claims etc. To manage and develop relationships with external contracting companies and stakeholders to deliver Western Powers contractual works effectively and efficiently and to the required standards.Your Role in ActionResponsible for ensuring external contractors working on behalf of Western Power comply fully with the ContractManagement Framework and all contractual compliance obligations and requirements.To carry out duties as Superintendents Representative in accordance with AS4000, AS4902 and AS4906 contractsResponsible for ensuring a high level of compliance to, and consistent application of, the Contract ManagementFramework and the reporting of any contractor breach of this framework.Ensuring the constructability review of contracted work packages is completed prior to Contract execution.Management of schedule focusing on critical pathEnsuring the effective and efficient delivery of outsourced works to ensure full contractual compliance is met with a focus on:site specific safety managementsite specific environmental managementquality assuranceWhat Makes You a Great FitMust possess a relevant trade in electrical and / or civil disciplines, engineering or HSE qualificationAt least 5-6+ years solid experience in power and/or heavy industry planning, construction, operation, commissioning, and maintenanceBest practice knowledge and industry experience in the areas of contract management and executionBest practice experience and knowledge is essential for safety management, occupational health, workplace assessing, incident and hazard investigation and emergency responseProven experience is necessary in managing conflict resolution and managing public and stakeholder relationsInteraction with others is primarily concerned with influencing, developing, and motivating people and changing behaviourProven experience in performing Constructability reviews on design packagesMust possess a valid WA Drivers License Class C or C-ABy joining Western Power, you will contribute to powering a cleaner energy future.
