About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated leader to oversee operations at our Icon Cancer Centre in Windsor Gardens. This vacancy has become available due to an internal promotion, reflecting Icon Groups strong commitment to professional development and the advancement of our people. In this full-time, permanent position, the Site Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership and operational management of this busy centre, which provides comprehensive cancer care services including medical oncology, haematology, and radiation oncology. The role requires a strategic and hands-on leader who can ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality care, while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture. Reporting to the State Manager (SA), the Site Manager will oversee financial performance, human resources, and service delivery, while also contributing to the implementation of business initiatives aligned with Icons mission and values. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the ongoing success of a centre recognised for its innovation, research focus, and patient-centred approach. Key Responsibilities Provide effective leadership and management to the multidisciplinary team. Establish and maintain the highest standards and continually enhance the quality of service and patient experience. Apply effective resource and workflow management strategies to optimise quality, efficiency, and productivity. Build and maintain a high-performance culture that delivers quality patient care services through a patient-centric and collaborative approach. Develop plans for improvement and innovation in service delivery. Establish and maintain exceptional doctor relationships internal and external. Partner with Business Development Manager to deliver on the sites operational and strategic plan. Skills and Experience This is a frontline management position requiring: Strong understanding of service delivery models within the public and private healthcare sectors. Management experience in a healthcare organisation with a demonstrated consultative leadership style. Ability to lead enthusiastically, communicate effectively, and manage people while balancing safe, quality patient care with stakeholder demands. Financial, analytical, and business planning capabilities within a service delivery framework using KPIs for performance management. Engagement skills to motivate teams in delivering safe, quality cancer care in a highly regulated, dynamic environment. Strong commitment to team member development through learning and development programs. Demonstrated commitment to customer service. Qualifications Health qualification with advanced clinical knowledge, including current AHPRA registration (highly desirable). Management/business qualification (desirable).
