You will be responsible for the following:Originating, leading, and executing equity capital advisory engagements, leveraging your existing established relationships with project developers, retailers & other energy service providers, as well as institutional investorsDebt capital advisory experience is desired but not essential the focus for this role is on EquityOverseeing teams of 3-4 ppl providing advice on buy and sell-side capital raises linked to Renewables & Storage projects, intersecting project structure & commercialisation with deal structurePortfolio & project structure: fundamental value of the assets in terms of location, technology, size, and project configuration answering these questions in collaboration with professionals within our Commercial Advisory team, andDeal structure: what is the desired initial purchase / sale of equity, how quickly to scale up to 100% ownership / full control, what are the existing or incoming investors exit horizonsRunning end-to-end competitive processes to buy or sell equity capital linked to Renewables & Storage projects. These 6-12 month long processes have the following key phases:Preparation of go-to-market buy / sell-side strategy including bidder / seller identification and selection process in consultation with our clientsPreparation of marketing and sales materials, including Process Letter(s), IM / Management PresentationsFull transaction project & process management including appointment and management of due diligence advisors, VDR (for sell-side processes) and Q&A managementFor sell-side processes: Financial model development and management (including any model audit processesNegotiation of transaction documentation in conjunction with our clients and their legal advisor(s)Leading interactions with bidders / sellers on Commercial and Capital negotiationsCollaborating with Clients legal and technical advisors as required during the negotiation and completion processProviding Capital Advisory expertise, where required, on Commercial Advisory-focused engagements to our Energy & Carbon sector clientsOriginating, selling and growing a pipeline of Client projects in Capital Advisory with a focus on Power & Carbon sectorsBeing a member of, and collaborating with others within, CORE Markets Senior Management Team on business development & origination, project delivery, project resourcing, and staff recruitmentBuilding a team under you as you grow out our Capital Advisory practice!Requirements12+ years'' experience in Australia''s National Electricity Market and / or Carbon sectors from an Equity Capital Advisory PoV.
