Being close to public transport makes Marten the place for you!Our Home offers all levels of permanent, respite and palliative care whilst encouraging independence and lifestyle choices that suit the needs of every individual.About the OpportunityReporting to the Hospitality Coordinator we are actively seeking an Aged Care experienced Hospitality Assistant to join our team on a permanent part-time basis with 20 hours on offer. The suited candidates will also be willing to help cover planned and unplanned leave.Shift times: 1600-1900 Monday to SundayAssist in the preparation and serving/plating of meals to residentsDishwashing, clearing of dishes from the dining rooms/residents roomsDelivery of friendly and efficient food services to our residentsMonitoring of food quality, quantity and reporting of any issuesTo be successful you will haveValid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)Complete a police checkFlu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain during flu season)Evidence of Covid-19 vaccinationBasic Food Safety Practices CertificateSound food preparation experience (preferably in an Aged Care environment)Highly organised and able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasksHighly efficient and motivatedMaintain a clean and tidy work environment at all timesKnowledge of kitchen processes, standards, systems and equipmentA caring team environment with strong clinical and allied health supportCareer progression and development opportunitiesGenerous salary packaging and not-for-profit tax benefits claim up to $18,550 tax freeAn Employee Assistance Program for staff and familyFree annual flu shotsApply nowOur application process takes less than 10 minutes.
