Job Opportunity: Chef/Cook at Maze Cafe & LarderMaze Cafe & Larder is seeking an experienced, capable, hands-on Chef or talented Cook for our vibrant venue within The Mill Markets, Daylesford VIC. Join our dynamic team and bring your culinary skills to a thriving environment.Requirements:Qualified chef preferred, or 4+ years of relevant work experienceAvailability for part-time or full-time work, 4-5 days per week, including most weekendsShifts between 8:30am - 5:30pm, with no early starts or late finishesAvailability to work on public holidays with appropriate ratesStrong operational, organisational, and problem-solving skillsPassion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer experiencesIdeal Candidate:A natural leader who enjoys working in a team and providing memorable customer experiencesComfortable in a large, open-plan kitchen with all necessary equipmentCommitted to high standards of presentation, cleanliness, attention to detail, and consistent proceduresBrings a positive, welcoming, and energetic attitude to the workplaceContributes to a respectful, motivated, and cohesive team environmentEnthusiastic about continuous improvement, testing new recipes, and learning new skillsThrives in a fast-paced, bustling settingThe Role:The Chef will be responsible for kitchen service, food preparation, stock control, hygiene and health compliance, and customer service, ensuring quality and consistency.
