Job Description: Homelessness CoordinatorOur client is a leading not-for-profit housing provider committed to building inclusive and thriving communities where individuals feel secure, supported, and empowered. Based in Rockhampton, the Homelessness Coordinator will oversee the organisation''s homelessness programs, ensuring effective service delivery. This role involves leadership, program development, case management, workload allocation, and compliance with contractual obligations.Your ResponsibilitiesMaintain close relationships with key community stakeholders to enhance community impact.Collaborate with the team to understand the needs of participants and their families, and assist in planning and accessing support services.Improve interventions to ensure services are effective and aligned with community needs.Guide program staff to understand service agreement scopes and expected outcomes.Support the development and implementation of activities and events.Ensure staff well-being through debriefing and support discussions.Conduct performance reviews and support professional development for staff.Qualifications and ExperienceDiploma in Social or Behavioural Sciences, Social Work, Community Services, Psychology, or related field.At least 3 years of leadership experience in the community sector, including staff management and program oversight.A genuine passion to make a difference in the lives of Central Queenslanders.Proven ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.Strong problem-solving skills with solution-oriented mindset.Experience working within a high-performance, KPI-driven environment.Excellent time management and organisational skills.Effective communication skills to build rapport and influence diverse audiences.Other RequirementsAbility to obtain a Blue Card (working with children check).Ability to obtain a Yellow Card (disability services check).BenefitsAttractive salary packaging options for part-time and full-time roles.Opportunity to contribute to social change.TOIL accrual and usage for full-time staff to support work-life balance.Supportive management and professional development opportunities.Inclusive and driven workplace culture.Access to health and wellness programs.Application ProcessIf interested, click ''apply now'' to submit your CV or contact Sarah Raines at (07) 4960 1126 for more information.
