OverviewDevelops, organizes, and promotes aquatic programs. Oversees swim lesson scheduling, marketing, and outreach. Manages inventory, purchasing, and facility maintenance. Provides swim instruction and staff training. Supports special events and recruitment while ensuring compliance with training and certification standards.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, organize, and promote aquatic programsSchedule and oversee swim lessons across all facilitiesManage marketing, outreach, and communication for aquatic programsCoordinate partnerships with schools, parks, and recreation departmentsMaintain inventory, purchasing, and facility upkeep for aquatics and housekeepingEnsure proper cleaning and disinfection of aquatic spacesProvide swim instruction and aquatics educationTrain staff in swim lesson instructionRecruit, train, and evaluate employees to maintain performance standardsEnsure staff compliance with training and certification requirements, including CPRWork with Planning, Design, and Construction teams on facility improvementsSchedule and oversee housekeeping staffQualificationsLifeguard, Water Safety Instructor certification required. North Carolina Certified Pool Operator required within 6 months of hire. American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Trainer certification preferred. Applicants should have a minimum of two (2) years successful working experience in a fitness environment. Associate or bachelors degree in a fitness, business or recreation related field preferred.The applicant should also have experience in program development for aquatics, fitness or recreation. Applicants should posses excellent organizational skills, visible enthusiasm and interpersonal skills; must have verbal ability to direct and control activities and staff. #J-18808-Ljbffr
