Permanent, Full-Time position located in AshwoodProvide specialist rostering expertise and best practice leadershipJoin a purpose-led organisation and enjoy the benefits of NFP salarypackagingAbout the roleMaintain rostering system ensuring accurate and timely data entry for more than 100 employees to ensure a smooth transition to the payroll system.Assist with filling vacant shifts on the roster.Provide reception duties including meeting and greeting residents, their families, staff, and other customers and directing them appropriately, answering telephone calls, transferring calls, and taking messages, directing enquiries as appropriate and in a timely manner;Accounts payable and receivablesManage and maintain filing system ensuring all documents are filed in a systematic, organised manner;About youEssentialExtensive experience in rostering, time and attendance management, administration and customer serviceHigh level of computer literacy MS Outlook, Word, Excel and time and attendance or HRIS systemsAccounts payable and receivable experienceHighly developed level of interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, staff and volunteers; with patience, common sense and an understanding of quality service deliveryDemonstrated ability to operate with discretion and maintain complete confidentialityExperience at recognising, prioritising and actioning emergency or critical response to issues/needs arisingProven experience in problem solving and decision makingDemonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a teamDesirableRelevant experience working in, or an understanding of and sensitivity to, the issues related to older people and the not-for-profit environment;Knowledge of AN-ACC funding, the Aged Care Act and other related legislation.Well-developed negotiation and dispute resolution skillsCurrent valid Victorian Drivers LicenceWhy VMCH ?Because the people we employ make it a great place to work!
