The Site The Gurri Wanyarra Wellbeing Centre is Bendigo''s premier aquatic & wellness centre, featuring an Olympic-sized 50m indoor pool, swim school, large health club, group fitness, spa & sauna, wellness pool, and Bendigo''s only indoor splash park. The Role The Aquatic Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations of the facility, prioritizing safety and high-quality service delivery. You will lead, coach, and engage a team of Duty Managers and Lifeguards, manage hazards, and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and statutory requirements. Skills & Attributes Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire others Excellent verbal communication skills Knowledge of work health and safety legislation, evacuation, and emergency procedures Experience with plant room management and pool operations is essential Availability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends Current First Aid (Level 2) & CPR Certificates Blue Card Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate Current Pool Operations Certificate Applicants with a strong background in pool plant operation and maintenance will be highly regarded.
