Maintenance Engineer (Continental Shifts)Job DetailsLocation: Knowsley, MerseysideType: PermanentPosted on: 19th May 2025Reference: JN -022025-62170_1747657482Role OverviewAs a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:Performing preventative and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment such as furnaces, vacuum pumps, cooling farms, and refrigeration systems.Maintaining various equipment systems including pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, vacuum, and HVAC.Planning and prioritising workload to support production efficiency.Implementing preventative maintenance on all plant equipment and building facilities.Responding promptly to breakdowns, diagnosing faults, and minimizing downtime.Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for breakdowns.Reporting equipment faults and concerns to management.Handling all electrical tasks, including lighting, installation, and fault finding.Maintaining a high standard of workplace organisation using the 5S methodology.Ensuring electrical and P&ID drawings are current.Adhering to all H&S procedures, legislation, and company policies.Collaborating with contractors as needed.Communicating effectively across departments.Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance system.Benefits & Perks22 days annual leave plus bank holidaysAdditional day off for your birthdayFree on-site parkingCompany uniform provided on your first day and an annual clothing schemeConfidential employee assistance helplineShiftsMonday to Sunday, following a 4-on, 4-off rotation:Day shift: 6am - 6pmNight shift: 6pm - 6amAbout UsWe are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive community.
