This role is based in Melbourne, Victoria, but you will also travel across regional Victoria & Tasmania to engage with both customers and staff.A day in the life of an Industrial State Sales Manager would see you:Act as a conduit between our vendors and customers to ensure smooth stock sales, maximising vendor returns and providing customers with access to the best stock sourced by the VIC & Tasmania Sales Executives.Drive a team of Sales Executives across VIC & TAS through personal interaction, engagement, customer management, and CRM utilization.Ensure high CRM usage within your team.Develop and maintain strategic sales plans for the Sales Executives.Work alongside Sales Executives in customer engagements to coach, train, and develop their skills.Support the design and remarketing strategy of industrial stock throughout VIC & TAS.Analyse sales data to maximise results.Provide reports and insights on sales performance and initiatives to management.Your skills and experience:Highly organized, challenge-ready, and capable of leading and inspiring a passionate team.Strong knowledge or background in truck & transport, earthmoving machinery, & mobile plant assets.Experience in equipment remarketing and asset valuations.Proven leadership, sales, and new business development experience.Experience using CRM systems to identify opportunities.Excellent customer service and time management skills.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.Strategic and solution-focused thinking.About PicklesSince 1964, Pickles has powered trusted marketplaces, delivering value and creating thriving marketplaces for our customers.
