With a customer-first mindset, we make doing business with McCain easy.About the role.This position is responsible for the execution of the ANZ inventory policy, strategy and the systems that underpin it. The primary requirement is the accuracy of the data that drives our physical and logical stock balances. The role will cover all plants across the ANZ region and their related activities as defined by the line manager and the Supply Chain Operations manager.This role can be based in one of our McCain locations including: Ballarat AU, Melbourne AU, Auckland NZ, Hastings NZ, or Timaru NZ.What youll be doing.Ensure inventory accuracy across systems (SAP, 3PL WMS) by SKU, batch, quantity, and statusMonitor and resolve inventory sync issues across 3PL & Company owned warehousesInvestigate and resolve inbound/outbound, shipping, batch, and EDI errors with stakeholdersLead root cause analysis and implement sustainable inventory process improvementsMaintain compliance with inventory policy and support SCA projectsManage WNS team performance, ensuring timely & correct inventory adjustments and error resolutionOversee and reduce IDOC, PGI/PGR, ASN, and EDI setup issues with 3PLsTrack supplier performance and support issue resolution (e.g., returns)Provide regular reporting, insights, and maintain documentation for inventory processesSupport load planning, carrier communication, and cross-functional operations as neededFoster strong internal and external relationships through open, collaborative communicationWhat youll need to be successful.Strong governance, time management, and attention to detailProven ability to set expectations, follow through, and lead by exampleCollaborative leadership and clear, engaging communication4+ years experience in Frozen Food or FMCG, with deep inventory management expertiseProficient in SAP or similar ERP systemsSkilled in project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagementAdvanced Microsoft Suite skills: Power BI experience desirableSolid understanding of Chain of Responsibility legislationAn understanding of 3PL warehouse operations is desirable however not requiredAbout the team.Youll be joining a small but high-performing and collaborative team that prides itself on delivering results while maintaining a supportive and enjoyable work environment.
