Through Research & Development in plant breeding, we develop vegetable varieties and produce seeds for commercial growers all around the globe.For this maternity leave position, we are seeking a communications professional who is passionate about storytelling and has a keen interest in the horticulture industry.Reporting to the Commercial Managing Director of Australia, your role will support our sales team, telling the stories of our innovations, vegetable varieties, customers, employees and industry.You will have experience in online Content Management Systems, and content creation across a range of channels - including websites, social media, print media, PR, intranets and internal communications.You will leverage your organisational and communication skills to assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of events.Your contributionYou are creative, quick thinking, highly organised and able to craft compelling content that engages with diverse audiences.A collaborative spirit helps you to build positive relationships, enabling you to discover exciting stories for internal and external communications while fostering strong connections across the global Rijk Zwaan team.With a passion for sustainability and a love of vegetables, you truly embody what Rijk Zwaan stands for.We can find the following on your resume:Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, or public relations with three years experience in a similar role or relevant industry experience.Demonstrated ability to independently plan, develop, implement, and evaluate effective communication plans and responses.Demonstrated skills as a highly competent writer across a broad range of communications channels.Well-developed relationship management skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with growers, local and international colleagues and other industry stakeholders.Proficient in Content Management Systems and event management.E-commerce experience is advantageous.Where will you be working?Rijk Zwaan is an international family-owned company, and one of the top four vegetable seed companies in the world.
