Join to apply for the Merchandise Planner - Womenswear role at BIG W1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Merchandise Planner - Womenswear role at BIG WMerchandise Planner - Womenswear - Big W -One permanent opportunity and one 6-month FTC (fixed-term contract) opportunity.Inclusive culture with a focus on creating genuine career opportunitiesOpportunity to collaborate with some of the brightest and best minds in AustraliaWhat youll doMerchandise Planner brings the BIG W purpose to life by developing plans, forecasts and parameters that ensure our range has the right mix, quantity and price to drive sales, profit and optimise inventory.Develop merchandise financial plans informed by top-down and bottom-up data to drive business performanceDevelop category strategy that delivers on financial metricsDevelop models and forecasts to support accurate financial planning and to optimise stock, sales and profitPartner with stakeholders to adhere to the critical path scheduleDevelop the option plan, setting a framework within which Designers/Buyers can select ranges. Prepare the range review for buy sign off and work with the buyer to ensure range is bought within plan parameters and OTBIn season management of OTB, inventory, profit, accurate replans, markdown and promotional plansMonitor the in-season and post-season performance of the Department and work with Buyers on strategies and tactics to quickly respond and improve performanceWhat youll bring3 years of experience as a Planner, ideally within a large retail environmentProven success in trading a sizeable category, both in terms of sales value and number of SKUs, or previous experience planning a full categoryA proactive, can-do attitude with strong attention to detailDemonstrated ability to work towards and deliver on key performance indicators (KPIs)What youll experienceA global business with endless career possibilities around every corner and across every discipline with valuable exposure to a vast and exciting business network.Access to Sonder.
