As the Executive Chef, you will be integral in setting a clear vision for the food operations within our organisation. Leading the kitchen operations throughout multiple outlets with a variety of offerings. You will design menus and work with the established team to operate a high-quality kitchen team.Reporting to the CEO, your role is responsible for managing and leading a catering team, while providing a hands-on approach to producing quality food in a timely and profitable manner as well ensuring that there is always a consistent and superior experience for patrons.About the role: Develop strategies which attract and retain customers and improve the Club''s Catering operation Supervise and encourage our talented kitchen brigade, maintaining a high standard of preparation, presentation and service Implement quality control systems, and oversee food safety working with HACCP procedures Accountable for the standards, safety and work practices of the kitchen staff, together with overseeing the financial performance and budgets of the kitchens Demonstrated skills in leadership and staff training, with a motivating, hands-on approach Maintain knowledge of all club functions, events, promotions and activities and provide information to members, guests and visitorsAbout you: Maintain and update a knowledge of current trends and new developments in the Catering Industry Work well and communicate with stakeholders at all levels, whilst displaying initiative and professionalism Exert strong planning and organisational skills with an exemplary work ethic Proven ability to support leadership, management and team development Understanding of the priorities, market positioning, vision and mission of the Club Ability to work in collaboration with others to support and promote our positive team culture Love for food, and passion to create!We will provide: Uniform, modern conditions and company benefits Opportunity for professional development and creativity A supportive and professional Executive Management team Salary package reflecting your skills and experienceThe Nambour RSL Club, located on the stunning Sunshine Coast, is one of Queenslands most awarded and modern Community Clubs.
