About the Role:The Mortgage Broker is at the heart of relationships with our customers and working with the small team youll be reporting to the director whilst ensuring you provide a seamless home loan experience for their customers. Your role is to turn new prospects/opportunities into long standing return clients by delivering excellent service whilst assisting them with their residential lending needs. Youll be supported by a small, but high-performing team in a great office environment located in Shellharbour.What you will do:Understand and manage the end-to-end process for home loan applications from initial enquiry right through to settlement/funding.Understand and analyse clients financial position to propose a best-fit solution efficiently and effectively to their residential mortgage borrowing needs.Oversee preparation and submission of the mortgage application.Ensuring all applications are submitted within risk and compliance frameworks e.g., NCCP (NationalConsumer Credit Protection Act 2009).Place the customers at the centre of everything you do by providing exceptional service by working collaboratively with the team by sharing information, ideas, and learnings.What you will have:Minimum of 2+ years mortgage broking/credit assessment experience (required).Strong lending policy knowledge as well as strong understanding of B.I.D and NCCP.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple loan applications simultaneously.A great communicator and people person.Good attention to detail.A high level of professionalism as well as being well organised.A Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking. #J-18808-Ljbffr
