Join to apply for the Financial Accountant role at Petstock Group About the Role Due to recent growth and a new partnership with Woolworths, an exciting opportunity has arisen within the Petstock Group Finance Team. Based in our Ballarat Support Office, you will support the team by ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial information through maintaining accounts and financial systems. Responsibilities Perform P&L reviews; investigate and correct anomalies Manage month-end processing and review Complete balance sheet reconciliations Investigate issues, plan and implement solutions, escalate as needed Assist with preparation of consolidated statutory accounts Compile information and memos for accounting treatments and statutory notes Coordinate with external auditors during the annual statutory audit Prepare reports and presentations for management, CFO, and Board Provide financial analysis and advice for business decisions Candidate Requirements Finance-related degree CA/CPA qualification Strong accounting technical skills Experience in statutory accounting and reporting, from industry or audit background Experience preparing statutory accounts Proficiency in IT skills Additional Information If you love Pets as much as we do and are interested in this opportunity, apply today!
