Our primary focus is to provide high-quality and timely genomic information to assist in diagnosis and clinical decision-making.About the roleDue to growth within the business, we have several exciting opportunities for Laboratory Technicians to join our Genomic Diagnostic team. We are seeking a Laboratory Technician who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. The Laboratory Technician will ensure specimens are processed efficiently, and results are reported accurately to the health services and doctors serviced by the laboratory.The Laboratory Technician will also perform scientific duties and develop skills within the scope of the laboratory or department to achieve organizational goals and objectives.Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Perform routine diagnostic tests, prepare routine tissue preparation, and services using various techniques under scientific supervision.Perform all quality control testing necessary for each assay, review, document, and act on the results according to departmental policy.Perform regular maintenance and basic troubleshooting on automated and manual instrumentation and equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
